Big Brother - 1/26/2008

Connor got to meet his baby brother Logan for the first time today.
Despite how the picture looks, Connor was actually very happy to meet the newest addition to the family. He kept saying "Brother is sleeping" and was trying to help Mommy put Logan back into the crib.
When the nurse had to take Logan out of the room, Connor chased after her yelling "Logan, Logan!!".
Connor is going to make a great big brother.

Sam's 7th - 1/20/2008

Today Connor helped his cousin Sam celebtrate his 7th Birthday.
Sam got a lot of cool new toys, but his favorite was a real electric guitar ...wow.
There was also cake, candy, the usual bounce-house and a lot of playing with all the cousins.

Happy New Year! - 1/1/2008

This year, New Year’s Eve was unfortunately spent in the ER due to a high temperature that Connor has had for the past few days. He’s been pretty miserable and napping most of the day, only waking up to eat some more Jell-O and go back to sleep. He’s been on a tight Tylenol and Motrin rotation to keep the fever under control, but it has been bouncing between 101 and 104 since Saturday.
Unfortunately, Daddy is not doing very well either.

Merry Christmas - 12/26/2007

Connor had a wonderful Christmas this year, full of too many toys to know what to do with!
He quickly realized that if he tore off the wrapping paper he would have a new toy to play with, and so he started ripping all the presents in sight.
Although, he did occasionally become too preoccupied with the last toy he unwrapped to want to move on to the next gift. Ah, the joys of being a kid at Christmas!

Santa Claus is Coming - 12/10/2007

Connor went with Mommy to see Santa today, but was a bit skeptical.
While he was happy to get a candy cane, there was some confusion as to why Mommy was putting him on Santa’s lap and taking pictures.
Santa may be a jolly maker of children’s toys, but he’s no Mickey Mouse!

Happy 2nd Birthday Connor! - 12/7/2007

Today Connor is two years old!
It’s amazing to see how he’s grown and how he’s developing into his own person. Connor is very clear in what he wants and he’s not afraid to tell you. He’s very opinionated; he likes something or he doesn’t like it and there is no changing his mind about that.
Cake? Not for Connor, he wanted to eat grapes on his birthday …and that was that!
He did like it when everybody sang “Happy Birthday”, he was all smiles from ear to ear.

Let it Snow - 12/2/2007

Connor got his first taste of snow this weekend at the Bixby Knolls Street fair.
A mountain of snow was brought in for the kids to play in and two sledding hills were created.
It was fun until the sun came out in full force and melted a lot of the hill into a wet mess.
Connor didn't seem to mind though, he was having a blast throwing snowballs.

Happy 33 Mommy! - 11/30/2007

Today Connor helped Mommy celebrate her 33rd Birthday !
There were presents and candles and most importantly, there was ice-cream cake!
Happy Birthday Mommy!

Football - 11/20/2007

Connor spent Sunday at a Luau for Ollie's first birthday. But Connor didn't spend too much time inside watching the incredible Hula dancers or listening to the music ...or even singing or eating cake.
Connor discovered football. He spend the rest of the day trying to hold on to the football and his picture of Mickey Mouse.
Thanks Joe & Melissa for a great party!

Kiki Mouse - 11/19/2007

Here is Connor with his favorite TV star, Mickey Mouse. Or, as Connor will say, "Kiki Mouse".
Connor loves Mickey, he spent all day in DisneyLand trying to find him ...he even tried chasing him down the crowded Main Street when he saw him on a parade float.
When we finally got to see him, Connor was in awe.

Sitting with Mommy - 11/18/2007

Not really News, but this scene is too cute not to share. This is Connor and Mommy, just sitting on the step.
Connor loves to have Mommy or Daddy sit next to him ...just sit there.
He gets so happy.

Pots & Pans Band - 11/11/2007

Connor has a new (and very noisy) hobby. He has been taking out all the pots, pans, and lids and arranging his own drum set to play. Mommy, Daddy and the makers of Motrin are so very happy.

Kevin's Birthday - 11/4/2007

Today Connor spent a day at the park celebrating his friend Kevin’s 5th birthday! To make the day even better, Connor found a nice big scary dragon slide to conquer. Of course there was no hesitation by Connor, he only needed help waiting for his turn. He must have gone down the slide ten times in a row before he got too tired to run back up the hill to the top. What fun! Happy Birthday Kevin!

Halloween - 10/31/2007

Connor was dressed as a dog for Halloween, but the costume didn't stay on long. After one house and one piece of candy Connor decided he wanted out of his doggy costume and instead spent the rest of the night handing out candy. One piece of candy for the boys and a handful of candy for the girls! He had fun though, he stayed in with Mommy all night passing out candy while Daddy was working the spooky haunted house across the street.

Disney Land - 10/24/2007

Connor spent today at Disney Land riding the rocket ships, the Buzz Lightyear ride, the autopia, Mr. Toad’s wild ride and the Dumbo ride. But the best part of the day for Connor was meeting his favorite Disney character, Pluto!

Dog Park - 9/29/2007

Today the entire family (including the dogs) spent the day at the park. Connor had a lot of fun running around with Lilo and Lani at the dog park. Everybody was so happy to get out.

I Wanna Go Fast! - 8/26/2007

Here’s Connor tearing up the streets in his new race car that Grandpa bought for him. Connor likes to drive fast, and never in a straight line. Most of Connors driving takes place in our front yard where he drives over the flowers and off the curb …and loves every minute of it.

Floating - 8/18/2007

Connor has been going to swim classes on the weekends. He loves the water and he likes swim class, he just doesn’t like to follow any of the lesson plans. Connor is most happy just floating around the pool without a care in the world. He’s surprisingly relaxed in the water, he’s not scared at all.

Connecticut - 8/6/2007

The family has been in Connecticut for Connor’s second cousin Lauren’s wedding. It’s been a fun trip for all and Connor has got to meet all of his aunts and uncles and cousins and his Great Grandmother (pictured here with Mommy and Daddy)
